In this video, we'll see the 8 basic movements to start animating with Photoshop. You'll also get new ideas for creating your own GIFs and sharing them on WhatsApp.

The star of the video is a blue emoticon that we'll create in the first part. Then we'll see how to prepare the workspace for animation and how to program the timeline.

The first movement is horizontal and linear animation, where we'll learn to move the emoticon from one side of the screen to the other horizontally.

The second movement is horizontal curve animation, where the emoticon moves from one side to the other in a high curve. In this movement, I use the tool I created in the previous video. The third and fourth movements are vertical animations, and I also use the animation tool. You'll see straight vertical movement and also curved movement. The straight movement is used to simulate something rising, and the curved movement is great for moving body parts like hands and arms.

The fifth movement is circular animation. First, we'll create a perfect circle with the tool, and then we'll move the emoticon quickly and easily. This movement is very interesting for creating GIFs.

The sixth movement is animating an object or figure with a rotation. This movement has several tricks since the element is flat, and the animation effect is purely optical.

The seventh movement is a wave or roller coaster animation. It's a very fun effect that you can use to create very interesting GIFs in Photoshop.

The eighth and final movement is animating by changing the emoticon's scale from smaller to larger. It's a very dynamic and attractive effect, also for GIFs.
