Run Java program without IDE

Java programs could be run from command prompt.

Here I have used Notepad++, and open JDK 14.
Path for java is set in environment variable, which could be easily verified by checking java version in the command prompt.
Run Java --version in command prompt to check your java version.
create a new .java file using notepad++.
you may create .class file by running -javac filename
Run Java program using - java filename

Notepad++ is free software. It may be easily downloaded and installed from https://notepad-plus-plus.org/downloads/

Open JDK may be easily installed from https://openjdk.java.net
