Solid Walnut Mantle
So a client contacted me and wanted a custom mantle made. They were pretty much open to creativity as long as it looked good. The only thing they asked was that it compliment their dining table which was dark brown. So black walnut seemed like a natural choice. I picked up a nice 12/4x6" piece, re-sawed, carved and assembled the piece you'll see in the video. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
