In this video we are reviewing how to Extend or Override the Vertical Third Action System. This will enable you to further modify V3RD to the needs of your project.
The Override feature enables you to replace the Vertical Third Action Spawn AND utilize many of the V3RD input system features. Such as cooldowns, targeting, mouse requirements, camera changes, animations, resource changes and more!
The Extension feature enables you to add custom code at the START and END of an Action. You can utilize this with the current V3RD Action System or with an Override to further customize your own code.
Vertical Third accelerates iteration with a visual codebase, designer tools and simple workflow. All for Unreal Engine 5 (UE5)!
