In this tutorial, you will create a repository on AWS Codecommit and commit some changes to it.
AWS CodeCommit is a version control service hosted by Amazon Web Services that you can use to privately store and manage assets (such as documents, source code, and binary files) in the cloud.
Before you begin, you must complete the prerequisites and setup procedure, including:
Assigning permissions to the IAM user.
Setting up credential management for HTTPS or SSH connections on the local machine you use for this tutorial.
Configuring the AWS CLI if you want to use the command line or terminal for all operations, including to create the repository.
