Misconception we learnt by using Browser DevTools while writing locators!!

Do you know that
1) DevTools doesn't provides the right count of selector's match because it also gives string match. For ex- try to find all the links in a page using //a.

2) When DevTools shows 0 matching nodes, it is not 100% true. For ex- You write the correct selector for shadow dom element then also it will show 0 matching node.

3) DevTools doesn't generate correct XPath for all the web elements. Ex- Try to copy xpath for any SVG element.

There are many wrong things which we have learnt by using browser DevTools while writing locators. In this video I have tried to explain few of them and given the solution for each problem.
