This lecture details the implementation of a Python dictionary class in C using a linked list structure. The dictionary object includes head and tail pointers and a count field. Keys and values are dynamically allocated character arrays via malloc and then copied into the node.

The put method updates existing keys by freeing the old value and allocating a new one, or adds new keys and values as new nodes. The get method returns the value for a key or null if not found. This linked list implementation is a simplified version of Python's dictionary, which in reality uses hash maps for efficiency.
