In this video, I’ll show you step by step how to set up GitHub Copilot in IntelliJ and use its powerful modes: Ask, Plan, and Agent.

🔹 Prerequisites: IntelliJ IDE + GitHub account
🔹 Installation: Settings → Copilot AI Pair Programming → Install → Restart
🔹 Sign in: Link your GitHub account with Copilot Chat
🔹 Modes:
Ask Mode: Get answers about your project (e.g., Java version)
Plan Mode: Copilot proposes changes before applying them
Agent Mode: Copilot directly edits your code (e.g., update pom.xml from Java 17 to 25)
Edit Mode: Deprecated

💡 Example: I demonstrate this with a Spring Boot User Service project.
