Install Java JDK 8 on windows 10

Goto oracle website to download Java JDK 8 for windows 10 machine

Select Java On Java SE Downloads page
Accept license Agrrement
Select the version of JDK which you would like to download
Windows X86 - 32 Bit Operating system
Windows X64 - 64 Bit Operating system
Once JDK is downloaded install it.
Now open Command prompt on windows and type javac
Now open Control Panel - System security – System -advanced system settings
“System properties” Pop up box will show up
Click on “Environment Variables”
Under “System Variables” , Click on “New..” button
Enter the following
variable Name :- JAVA_HOME
Variable Value:- C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_31
Variable value is the path of your JDK folder and click on “OK” button
Now you need to Update the Path, Click on Edit & append semicolon [;] and add %JAVA_HOME%\bin to the end
Variable Name : PATH
;%JAVA_HOME%\bin
