In this video, we'll learn how to delete data from a database using Entity Framework Core in a Blazor web application in .NET 8. So we'll perform an "Delete" operation in CRUD by deleting existing data in a Books table in a book catalog database.
First, we'll add a method in the Application Layer project for deleting a book by id. Next, we'll implement the method in the Infrastructure project. Then we'll add a delete button on the BookCard component. We'll implement a Razor Component that displays a delete confirmation dialog, when the delete button is clicked. Since the app uses Static Server Rendering by default, we'll add interactivity to the BookCard component using Interactive Server Side Rendering.
Please note that this video is the last video in a series, where we will be exploring how to perform CRUD operations in Blazor in .NET 8.
