Logistic regression is a type of supervised machine learning algorithm used for classification. It is a linear model used to predict a binary outcome (1 or 0) from an input vector of data. The output of the model is a probability of belonging to one of the two classes. Logistic regression can be used to predict the probability of a given event happening, such as whether or not a customer will click on an ad. It can also be used to predict the likelihood of a customer buying a product or service.
