Templates are essentially the View part of the MVC or Model-View-Controller in web applications. Within HTML templates, you can also use Pythonic statements to use for loops, if conditions, variables, and more. This is established by passing arguments to the render_template function, where you can then use them using the {{ }} syntax that is powered by jinja2.
