Java JVM Compatibility Issues
In this video, we explore JVM compatibility issues using three real-world scenarios:
Case 1: Same JDK version (A = B)
Case 2: Compile with newer JDK, run on older JVM (UnsupportedClassVersionError)
Case 3: Compile with older JDK, run on newer JVM (Backward Compatibility)
Commands :
1 To check the version number query :
javap -verbose HelloWorld
2 SWICH COMPILER :
sudo update-alternatives --config java
/usr/lib/jvm/java-17-openjdk-amd64/bin/javac
Give the above two commands and select it
