Learn how to get input from a user in Java. This video shows you two ways in which you can get user input.

If anyone is wondering it does not matter which way you use, that is all based on what type of application/program you're making and general preference really.

One more thing that might confuse people is in the video I used JOptionPane to take in user input and also display the same user input, however you can use both so for example take in user input using JOptionPane and then output the same input using the System.out.println command and vice versa.
