A more realistic buffer overflow. From a main() that does nothing except for allocate space on the stack for a buffer and ask the user for input into this buffer using gets(), we are able to call a function that was never meant to be called. This gives us an intuition into the x86 procedure stack structure, which will be useful in later exploits.
