What is callback function in JavaScript - A JavaScript callback is a function which is to be executed after another function has finished execution. A more formal definition would be - Any function that is passed as an argument to another function so that it can be executed in that other function is called as a callback function.

What is difference between normal function and callback function - A callback is a function passed as an argument of another function. This means that the parent function is usually built to use any kind of function. But the callback function, on the other hand, is meant to be used in a specific case (or a restricted number of cases) in which the parent function is used.
