Simple Background Scrolling Tutorial
Do you want to know how to create scrolling backgrounds in ‘your’ Scratch projects? I’m Griffpatch, and I can’t wait to share with you how go about creating this cool effect. We'll also cover how to loop background sprites using the maths mod operator, and lastly introduce parallax scrolling and vertical scrolling, not to mention having an awesome animating Scratch Cat Walk Cycle!
This is a relatively basic tutorial, but is useful to understand as we use this, or similar techniques a lot in other projects. We will shortly be using this one in the titled scrolling tutorial series.
