Second iteration of self-implemented blob tracking. Top left shows original image. Top right shows tracked blob. Bottom left shows color difference (black is zero color difference, white is 255 difference). Bottom right shows edge detection. A prediction based filter is used, which causes the failure around the 2 second mark.
