Adding Column Headers to a table HTML
If you are updating an existing table in your LMS to make it accessible, this will help if your table is organized by columns.
Replace the td in your html for your column headings to th and add scope="col" don't forget to update your end HTML /td tag with /th.
Tables should not be used for design purposes. They interfere with screen readers.
