Using validation in spreadsheet programs
Data validation is a powerful tool to prepare forms in MS Excel, LibreOffice Calc and other spreadsheet programs. We can define some cells to have allowed values only from a certain range of values defined elsewhere in the sheet. For example, to define a type of something. Then, we can have also subtypes with allowed ranges automatically assigned for the selected type.
