ifelse() Function in R (E18)
In today's video we'll cover how to use the ifelse() function in R. This function is the exact same as the IF statement / function in Excel. It takes in a condition or inequality and then has you specify something if it is TRUE and something else if it is FALSE. Towards the end I will cover an example where you want to test for an if statement and do something if it is TRUE however you want to do nothing if it is FALSE. As a hint, you can't leave the TRUE or FALSE part of the function blank.
I even use a fun example of a birthday party with go-karts.
