In this live-code I explore the possibility of creating a wrapper API for Redux to dramatically reduce it's code footprint in any client project. I explore various ways to reduce the excessive redundancy inherent in the standard redux API. My conclusion is there is ample opportunity to improve redux. If there is interest, I may proceed to write an open-source library to do just that.

Technologies: Redux, React

P.S. In the code I joke about calling it "redux-reduced" - unfortunately that name is already taken. The existing redux-reduced also desires a way to decrease the footprint of redux, but their implementation isn't a general-purpose replacement for the standard redux API. I think it's possible to do much better!
