Git 101
Git is the most popular version control (or source control) system for programmers. Version control is essential for managing the files in a software project, especially when multiple programmers are working together on the same code.
This introductory video describes using git with a local repository, both from the command line and in Visual Studio. In a future video, I will talk about working with shared repos hosted in the cloud (e.g., by github).
