Automatic Tree Detection using 3D Point Clouds
The video shows a use case of the Point Cloud Technology solution.
The algorithm was trained to find the object type "tree" in a 3D point cloud. Through the computer-based evaluation, a statement about the number of trees can be made automatically and reliably.

Dabei wurde der Algorithmus trainiert, um in einer 3D-Punkt-Wolke den Objekttyp "Baum" zu finden. Durch die computerbasierte Auswertung kann automatisiert und zuverlässig eine Aussage über die Anzahl der Bäume getroffen werden.
