In this tutorial, Becky Peltz and Danny Valentine at Cloudinary explain the basics of Cloudinary's transformations - changing images and videos programmatically in some way, either for the purposes of optimization or aesthetics.
They define what a transformation is, what the Cloudinary URL is and looks like, and also explain a little bit about caching transformations on content delivery networks (CDNs).
