Project 1: Installing The Latest Python on Linux Mint 21.3
Step 1: Check Your Current Python Version
Before diving into Python 3.12 installation, let’s find out which Python version you already have on your system.
Step 2: Installing Python 3.12
To get the latest Python version (3.12), we’ll use the “deadsnakes” Personal Package Archive (PPA).
Step 3: Configure Python Alternatives
Choose between Python 3.10.12 (old version) and Python 3.12 (new version). Set up alternatives:
