Normally, statements in a program are executed sequentially: The first statement in a program is executed first, followed by the second, and so on. There may be situations when you need to execute a block of code several number of times.
Programming languages provide us the ability called as looping, to repeat statements again and again. A loop statement allows us to execute a statement or group of statements multiple times.
Looping is also called as repetition or iteration.
