There’s a lot more to software engineering than just “coding”. It’s a very communicative and collaborative job, most likely allowing for you to wear many different hats - whether that’s gathering business requirements, planning a project, architecting a system, building the application, putting in ALL sorts of tests, and managing the infrastructure of your app - there’s a lot to it! But don’t worry, it’s not overly difficult or arduous to get these tasks done - it just takes a willingness to learn, and practice! 📥

I’ve been a software engineer for over 3 years! I currently work at Microsoft, as well as CUNA mutual and Target in the past. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science .. although I like to add that I’ve learned much of what I know today from the experiences on the job, as well as through the internet 😉
