To deploy your app to Heroku, you typically use the git push command to push the code from your local repository's master or main branch to your heroku remote, like so: $ git push heroku main Initializing repository, done.

Heroku offers a free plan to help you learn and get started on the platform. Heroku Buttons and Buildpacks are free, and many Heroku Add-ons also offer a free plan. Experiment easily with different technologies to discover what works best for you and your apps.

It is high on efficiency and support for building, deployment, and rapid scaling. One of its popularity is that it has add-on capabilities supporting multiple management tools and alerts. Heroku is known to speed up development cycles as the infrastructure part is fully-managed.

Heroku Buttons are pointers to source code repositories that have been extended with a tiny file that determines how the code should be deployed and configured. Clicking a Heroku Button will initiate deployment of the app, provide an option to configure the app, and deliver the running app on the web.

First, we'll create a RESTful API server to act as an interface for querying and persisting data in a MongoDB database. Then, we'll leverage the API server to build an Angular-based web application that provides an interface for end users. Finally, we will deploy our app to Heroku.

In the Heroku GUI, within your app's dashboard, navigate to the Deploy tab and click the Deploy Branch button. After the app finishes building, click the View button to see your new full-stack app up-and-running.

Pricing: Subscribers to Heroku's "production" tier will pay $25 to $50 per Heroku dyno per month. Thanks to the wide variety of options, Azure pricing is too complex, to sum up here, but the platform comes with both free and pay-as-you-go tiers depending on usage.

Get 1000 free dyno hours by verifying your Heroku account with a credit card; unverified accounts receive 550 free hours. You will not be charged, unless you decide to use a paid service.

The maximum number of apps per account is 100. There's currently no limit on the number of apps that you can create, but please see item 4.4 of the Heroku Terms of Service.
