Fixed | Notepad++: Ctrl-S does not Save, instead inserts [DC3]; Ctrl-F inserts [ACK]

Hello all, ever experienced this problem with notepad++ where you are unable to use shortcuts. Pressing shortcuts prints some bizzare text on your main editor screen.

Example.

Ctrl-Tab Cycle open tabs does nothing
Ctrl-W Close current tab [ETB
Ctrl-N Open New tab SO
Ctrl-O File Open window SI
Ctrl-A Select All DC3
Ctrl-Z Undo Works as expected
Ctrl-C Copy selection Works as expected
Ctrl-U Make lowercase NAK

Well this is because of the small dialog windows that is left open or hidden under another window. If this little window remains open, you will continue to get these strange characters on pressing shortcuts.
