We've carried out some work on our existing Super 8 telecine to improve stability of the image, we are quite pleased with the results. This was average cine film quality, some slight vinegar mould showing, but with remastering the contrast was brought back and the colours restored to normal with some added warmth.

This films is nothing special, other than to the people in it, but at the same time it shows a very typical job that we do on a daily basis, not some incredible downscaled and made to look old 4K video that you'll see on other companies web sites, this is what you are likely to get back in terms of the quality of an average Super 8 film. Of course your films could be better or worse than this, we've seen some that are so good we would have thought they were 16mm, and some so eaten away there is literally nothing left of the picture, the range is huge, this is typical of what you will see.
