Part #6: Start a Folder, Transfer CodePen Code to Visual Studio Code & Start a GitHub Repo
"Simple Steps to Code a basic website with HTML & CSS" Series
This is part #6 of a "homegrown" video series (there may be dogs, random pauses & husband yelling and doors opening... haha) showing beginners how to code a very basic website using HTML & CSS. I AM NOT AN EXPERT. Just a girl trying for years to teach herself to code.
I use a series of characters I created to bring to the code to life and help my understanding of the abstract concepts.
This video further dives into HTML tag elements & how they are used to "sketch" out a website using simple outlining. Good for visual people who need to understand how a real website works & connects to code BEFORE diving into the code.
I have sat as the only female in male boot camps, watched thousands of videos and used many self instructional tools. It takes me a while to conceptualize abstract things without visual & tactile tools. So, I created some myself! To help me learn.
See my playlist: "In the beginning" for more videos in the series!
These beginners videos are a "step inside my thought process" as I learn to code myself.
On this page of the site you can watch the video online #6: Visual Studio Code, Open/Start File, GitHub Repo with a duration of hours minute second in good quality, which was uploaded by the user Lynn Bailey, owner of SimplyLynn Handmade LLC 23 January 2023, share the link with friends and acquaintances, this video has already been watched 14 times on youtube and it was liked by 0 viewers.
