2 way data binding is the ability for a UI element to be updated when the value of its bound property changes and simultaneously for the elements ability to change the value of its bound property when its value changes.
I like to think of 2 way data binding as a combination of property and event binding (this is a simplified view, but helpful when first learning about 2 way databinding).
