Week 1 Coding Boot Camp
Objective: Create web development environment.
1)Create folder to hold web pages.
2)Show file extensions for files. (Windows Computers).
3)Change file extension of a text document to make it a web document.
4)Learn terminology (local host, document path).
5)Install web server and set it to be local host only.
6)Create first web page and serve it to local host computer.
7)Install virtual box for testing web pages in various operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
8)Install Notepad++(Windows) or Geany(Linux).
Install FFMPEG for photo/video editing.
Install Gimp for image editing.
Search terms:
Linux Debian 9 preferred Operating System for web development.
Windows 10 secondary preference for web development.

Modern IE Virtual Machine for Virtual Box

Tasks:
Install and explore all of the above.
Create list of referenced websites.
Create list of terminology with definitions.
Create a rounded rectangle with a 5 pixel border using GIMP.
Install FFMPEG and know its used for video processing.
Notes:
FFMPEG and GIMP are advanced for now install and know their usage.
These tasks may take you several days to search and complete.
