Feed Preview
This video highlights the feed Preview feature.
The feed preview feature provides a live, on-demand preview of your feed data without having to run a full compilation or having to download the feed file to review. Bringing your feed data on-screen will provide clarity into the data transformation process, and help you examine what is needed to further optimize your data.
The Preview feature is found within any feed in the top dialog box in the left-side menu card. Simply click the Preview button and the Preview card will open at the top of the screen. You can view the first 100 Skews, or you can search for any skew in the feed using the search bar. You can click this button here to expand the Preview to get an even better view of the displayed table and skew info.
When you click into an individual skew you are viewing every process that is applied to this skew. In the expanded view here you can also see the Before values, which display the data value before this step of the data transformation process is applied... and the After values, which displays the data after it has been transformed by the logic in this step.
If you make any changes to mappings, filters, categories or rules while the feed Preview is open, you will need to click the blue search button to refresh the Preview and view the changes you've just made.
