Key Lifecycle Stages and Commands:
Image Management: The process begins by pulling an image from Docker Hub (docker pull nginx) (3:06) and listing existing images (docker images) (3:35).
Container Creation & Execution:
Running a container in the foreground: docker run nginx (3:54).
Running a container in the background (detached mode): docker run -d --name [container_name] nginx (5:27).
Managing Container States:
Inspect: Retrieve detailed configuration and status information using docker inspect (6:28).
Pause/Unpause: Suspend a container's processes without stopping it using docker pause and docker unpause (7:28-8:06).
Stop/Start: Performing a "soft delete" (stopping) and restarting the container using docker stop and docker start (8:35-9:02).
Restart: A shortcut command to stop and start the container in one go: docker restart (9:33).
Kill: Performing a "hard delete" to force termination of the container process using docker kill (9:59).
Cleanup: After a container has served its purpose, it should be removed from the system using docker rm (10:14).
