Tool chain for small project with python, nodejs, github, linux ubuntu

A software environment setup, WUHE

This is to set up a python + nodejs project,
it's going to have web server, database, frontend and backend.

I'm going to do the scaffolding,
to give one example of setting up kind of developing enviroment,
it's also being called as tool chain,
a set of tools used in the developing.
PLEASE tell me what's good, or what's not so good, if you know the topics we are going to mention.
