Code walkthru of SoapUI free version that reads parameters from an Excel or Open Office spreadsheet (.xls) and populates the SOAP Request that requires CDATA with them. It also reads expected results from the spreadsheet and performs assertions on them to determine if the test case passed or failed.
Unfortunately, I cannot run this for you as it uses a private webservice. If you find a public webservice that requires the use of CDATA, please let me know so I can give a working example.
My data sheet contains 2 header rows and 2 left-most columns (Test Case ID and Test Case Desc) which are not used, since they aren't data, but make my data sheet understandable by humans. Counts start with zero, so row 2 represents the 3rd row in my spreadsheet.
See Public Comments for the code.
