AWS IoT using Python and Raspberry Pi 2
Demo of an AWS IoT project using Python and the Raspberry Pi 2.
This project was geared towards getting more familiar with the AWS cloud; especially the AWS IoT service. This project utilizes Amazon's IoT service, EC2, RDS, lambda functions and Route 53 to provide a complete solution built on Python. Behind the scenes, a flask web app is hosted on an Ubuntu instance to process server side code. By using socket.io, data published from the raspberry pi via mqtt is updated in real time to the front end GUI.
