Hey my friends welcome to Joey'sTech.
In this video I will show you how to install matplotlib library in Visual Studio Code that too in the easiest way and the most correct way possible. If you have been struggling to install the Matplotlib library in a light-weight code editor like VSCode then you have landed at the right video.
In this tutorial video I will show you

1. How to create a folder and open it in Visual Studio code - You will learn to create a python project folder and open it in Visual Studio Code in which you will install the matplotlib library.

2. How to create a virtual environment - You will also learn how to create a virtual environment within the python project folder created in step#1 and activate it for use. I want you to memorise this command by heart as you will have to create virtual environment first before installing any package when you work in corporate IT companies.

3. Pip install matplotlib - Finally, you will learn to install the matplotlib library in this virtual environment using the pip command. You'll see that the installation of the matplotlib library happens in flash

4. Test the installation of the matplotlib library - You will learn to develop a simple program importing matplotlib to test its installation. The program will display a straight line formed using x-coordinates and y-coordinates generated using the random function
