Start is a bit abrupt due to technical difficulties....sorry about that. Github is beloved by software developers for the ease with which it lets them share code, but it also has the not-yet-fully-explored
capability to be a Geographic Information System in the truest sense of the term. In this session we'll use Github's geospatial tools to manage some example municipal datasets from the bottom of the stack to the top. We'll create some vector data and explore versioned editing, store the data on Github, then serve it to the world in a web map, entirely for free.
