You get to the point where you realize that your current development is all client-side. You can use this technique to start the application much quicker. However this one can trip you up if you forget you have altered your configuration. Ah, I’ll show you anyway, then you decide.

Stop any debugging that you may have in session, then right-mouse on the solution and choose the “Configuration Manager”. Here you can disable the projects from building. Once you have done that, your application will launch much quicker because it is avoiding the build process.

Just remember to turn it back on, or do a right-mouse on the solution, and choose build.
