Hey, it's Keith at Coding Blind Tech. In this video I show you a simple but powerful GitHub trick: press the "." key on any repository and it opens up github.dev, a full Visual Studio Code editor right in your browser. No cloning, no setup, just instant access to the code.

I walk through the whole thing with the NVDA screen reader on Windows, so if you're a blind or visually impaired developer, you'll see exactly how to go from a YouTube video description, to the repo, into the editor, and through the files. Sighted folks, this works just as well for you too.

It's a great way to read along with a crash course, review someone else's code, or dig into a project before you decide to clone it.
One heads up: you do need to be signed in to GitHub for github.dev to open.
