Understand how strings and string literals work. We'll figure out how to get Strings as input from a user with scanner .next() and .nextLine() methods. We'll see how to avoid common mistakes, including an issue where .next() causes Java to not get input from a user when followed up with a .nextLine(). There will be a comprehension check at the end to make sure you understand what is being said!
This is the eighth episode in a series created to teach you Java from start to finish. These episodes are meant to get to the point while conveying what it all truly means.
