Web applications in Python: This episode is the start of a brand new series where we'll be exploring Flask. Data engineers often have a need for data collection or automation that they can easily implement in order to satisfy their requirements. Sometimes these are simple control panels for data pipelines, sometimes they are dashboards for executives, and other times they are straight up data entry applications for users. Flask is a super-cool, lightweight library for Python that allows you to create dynamic html applications for your data engineering projects. Using the popular Python programming language, Flask allows Python developers to get amazing results for their user application projects.
Many thanks to the Flask development team, the Pandas team, and the Openpyxl team for their work on the libraries used today. Also, we're using data from simplemaps.com today; thanks for putting this list together!
