Android actionBar holds menu items. Menu items can hidden and can be shown programmatically in java code. Menu items can be added in menu.xml which lies under res -- menu folder. The easiest way is inflating menu items from xml but it also can be added and handled by programmatically in java code. Either way works perfect for android. Today we are going to learn the implementation. We will use toggle button instead of Button for better illustration and we will add menu item in xml rather than adding via java code.
