As we use storage pools more and more in our home machines or servers, if we don't remove the pool properly from the old machine correctly, the old pool(s) appear on the new machine. SERVER MANAGER \Storage Spaces cant remove them due to read only. With PowerShell, you can!
Here I was building a new server 2016 host and threw in some 3TB drives from my older builds only to discover they had storage pools already on them.
