Coding withOUT AI: PHP example 01
Starting a series about how to code and build a website without the use of AI. I personally feel this is really important as a self-taught dabbler (I wouldn't call myself a programmer, or a junior Dev at best). A lot of what junior devs do is quickly being replaced with AI or AI is reaching that level in some cases. Senior devs who can make opinions or judgements about certain paths and methods and select what is likely safe since they need to audit code, but there is a risk - I feel - if junior devs rely too heavily on AI they lose some critical thinking skills and the ability to check where code is coming from. This could not only impact the market for junior devs, but the supply of senior devs in mid-/long-term.
This is the first of what I hope will be biweekly videos on creating a website with PHP, Javascript and good old HTML, but with no AI used to generate the code. I will include a link to the code as it develops in Github via the below link:

I am in no way an expert, but I hope that by showing the code, and doing the work, we can build a functional, helpful website with documentation, logic, and personal taste.
