Part 1 in a series on creating a JSON stream from a Hibernate data source in Java/J2EE 7, with Tomcat and Spring. In this video, we describe JSON and Servlets, create a simple HttpServlet that shows a snippet of data, and then wire up that servlet to a URL with web.xml. In the Part 2 video, we create a JsonObject and JsonArray using a builder.
