Playful Python: Imitate nature using algorithms
Aristid Lindenmeyer was a biologist who developed a system called the L-System to describe how plants, trees, and other natural formations can be formed. In this video we write out a simple L-System implementation in just a few lines of Python and use that to generate snowflakes, trees and ferns.
